Purpose first
Start with a legitimate business need and a proportionate use of AI.
Responsible AI
Our working approach is to make the purpose, information, risks, review points and ownership of an AI-enabled process visible before it becomes everyday work.
Discuss Responsible AdoptionWorking principles
These principles guide advisory, workshops and implementation. They are an operating approach, not a certification or legal guarantee.
Start with a legitimate business need and a proportionate use of AI.
Limit information to what the task requires and use approved tools and controls.
Keep named people responsible for decisions, review and escalation.
Check accuracy, edge cases, unsuitable outputs and live performance.
Record purpose, inputs, owners, limitations, controls and change decisions.
Train people to use the workflow correctly and apply responsible judgement.
A visible review path
Not every risk needs an enterprise programme. Every material risk does need an owner, a proportionate control and a way to decide whether the solution remains suitable.
When to pause
Do not use information when the right to process or share it is uncertain.
Pause when outputs cannot be checked reliably or consequences are too high.
Do not launch a workflow that nobody is responsible for operating and reviewing.
Choose a simpler method when safeguards make the use case impractical.
